Bell had won four straight games and Landin Williams did his part to make it five on Friday. The Bulldogs blew past the Bishop Snyder Cardinals 49-14 for which the team can thank Williams, who rushed for 113 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards.
Rj Leffler was another key player, throwing for 34 yards and two TDs while completing 80% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Bell's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-4 otherwise.
Bell didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Dean Glass and Jordan Spears. Fran Kealey was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
