Valley Center has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Fallbrook Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Valley Center put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Escondido with a sharp 65-43 win.
Valley Center's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carson Yoder, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Yoder hasn't dropped below 18 points for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Garcia, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Fallbrook came up short against the Wolverines on Wednesday and fell 72-62.
Valley Center has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Fallbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.
Valley Center skirted past the Warriors 58-56 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Valley Center repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
