If the Dyett Eagles were feeling good off their 48-25 takedown of the Kelly Trojans last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Dyett fell 61-48 to the Mustangs on Saturday.
Dyett lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Keyana Sanderson, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamari Watson, who scored 16 points.
Dyett's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Northside, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dyett will take on the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Jones is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games. As for Northside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Kelly is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
