Boardman waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Howland Tigers. Tyler Kirlik made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Kirlik was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
