Okeechobee is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Clewiston a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Okeechobee Brahmans will host the Clewiston Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Okeechobee is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
Okeechobee will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Friday, then bounced right back against Lake Placid on Monday. The Brahmans were the clear victors by a 23-12 margin over the Dragons. The Brahmans haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Charisma Micco made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also big at the plate, going 4-for-6 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, Okeechobee got a massive performance out of Audra Friend, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one triple. Those four RBI gave Friend a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Melaine Bonilla, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
Okeechobee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .523. They are 7-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Clewiston fell victim to Sebring and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Blue Streaks, falling 12-0.
Okeechobee now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Clewiston, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.
Clewiston's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Okeechobee has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.5 hits per game. It's a different story for Clewiston, though, as they've been averaging 10.4 hits. Given Okeechobee's sizable advantage in that area, the Tigers will need to find a way to close that gap.
Okeechobee got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 against Clewiston by a conclusive 19-1 score. Do the Brahmans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
