After a string of four wins, Chester's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mid-Carolina Rebels. The Cyclones were not able to make up for their loss to the Rebels from their previous meeting back in April of 2021.

Chester's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Mid-Carolina, they pushed their record up to 5-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Mid-Carolina has already played their next game (against Ninety Six), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chester will be paying especially close attention to the Rebels' match: after the Rebels faces off against the Wildcats, they'll take on Chester again at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
