On Tuesday, Washington-Wilkes lost to Jasper County on the road by a decisive 54-40 margin. Washington-Wilkes has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, even though Washington-Wilkes scored an imposing 67 points on Saturday, Harlem still came out on top. Harlem took their match against Washington-Wilkes 74-67. The win made it back-to-back wins for Harlem.
Harlem's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kee Williams led the charge by scoring 22 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Lemar Edmond, who scored 15 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
Washington-Wilkes' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Harlem, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.
