The Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles will face off against the Wilson Hall Barons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Hilton Head Christian Academy sitting on four straight wins and Wilson Hall on seven.
Hilton Head Christian Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Trinity Collegiate as they made off with a 42-20 victory. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Eagles just coasted through the last quarter.

Hilton Head Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hudson Baker, who rushed for 115 yards and two scores on only 13 carries. Those two rushing touchdowns gave Baker a new career-high. Jackson Richardson did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 125 receiving yards.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Hilton Head Christian Academy's defense and their six sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up 0.5 apiece ( Hudson Factor, Logan Baker, Kres Langhals, and Mason Feaster also recorded half a sack). Hilton Head Christian Academy got some further help from Hayne Burden: he picked up a sack and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilson Hall). They blew past First Baptist School, posting a 56-24 victory. With the Barons ahead 35-3 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Hilton Head Christian Academy better keep an eye on Cameron Wilsey. He was instrumental in Wilson Hall's win, rushing for 119 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries. Ford Wilder was another key player, rushing for 60 yards and one TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Wilson Hall was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 320 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 173 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Wilson Hall, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Shep Vincent, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Wilson Hall's record is now 10-1. As for Hilton Head Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Hilton Head Christian Academy couldn't quite get it done against Wilson Hall in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 as they fell 21-9. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
