They blew past Beaver Dam, posting a 62-19 victory at home. The win was familiar territory for El Capitan/Centennial Academy who now have four in a row.
Despite the defeat, Beaver Dam saw an underclassman step up: Crissy Medina scored nine points.
El Capitan/Centennial Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Beaver Dam, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. El Capitan/Centennial Academy will challenge Seligman at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Seligman comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last eight games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Beaver Dam, they will head out on the road to face off against Fredonia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
