After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Adams-Friendship, Wild Rose was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Port Edwards Blackhawks as they made off with a 16-6 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by eight runs or more this season.
Wild Rose pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Port Edwards, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
