Starting off the list is Patterson's Jeremiah Lugo, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lugo rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August.

East Union's probably not too fond of Juarez given he always seems to get the better of them. Juarez rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries the last time he and the Lancers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Wes Burford Delivers Electric Performance Vs Central Catholic
Wes Burford continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his eighth-straight game with at least 143 rushing yards. He rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns.
If the past is any indication, Burford could be in store for another big game when he takes on Sierra on Friday. When Burford last faced the Timberwolves back in September of 2023, he rushed for 287 yards and four touchdowns.

Joey Alcutt Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Joey Alcutt of Central Catholic. Alcutt rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. Central Catholic is undefeated when Alcutt posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
Alcutt must have Oakdale's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Alcutt last faced the Mustangs back in October of 2023, he picked up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown.
