Softball Recap: Acadiana's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Acadiana barely beat Crowley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Acadiana Rams blew past the Crowley Gent 15-1 on Friday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by eight runs or more this season.

Acadiana's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only 2.2 runs. As for Crowley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Acadiana wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against South Terrebonne on the 8th. As for Crowley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-1 win against Northside on the 8th.
