McLouth put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Valley Falls Dragons get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-3 on Thursday.

Charley Coffin and Leanna Larson did most of the damage at the plate: Coffin scored three runs while going 2-for-3, while Larson scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Taylor Edmonds was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI.

McLouth hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Valley Falls struck out 13 times.

McLouth's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Valley Falls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McLouth will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Horton at 4:30 p.m. on April 17. As for Valley Falls, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Troy at 4:30 p.m. Valley Falls will need to watch out since Troy has now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
