Meanwhile, John Glenn came up short against Tri-Valley on Thursday, falling 3-0.
John Glenn was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Tri-Valley work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-22, 25-19.
Philo's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for John Glenn, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
