Last Thursday, Revere was beaten by Lynn English 82-51. Revere has struggled against Lynn English recently, as their match on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 86-49, which was the final score in Medford's tilt against Lynn English on Tuesday. Medford was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-20.
Revere's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Medford, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2.
Revere couldn't quite finish off Medford when the teams last played back in January and fell 71-69. Can Revere avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
