St. Mary's was led to victory by John Brogan and Evan Hodge. Brogan scored 17 points along with 7 assists and 7 rebounds, while Hodge scored 29 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Hodge has scored at least 25% of St. Mary's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennan Billodeux, who scored 11 points.
Leverett's Chapel's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was DeMarion Brown, who scored 8 points along with 7 steals. Another player making a difference was DeWaylon Brown, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds.
St. Mary's is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Leverett's Chapel, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
