The Los Altos Eagles are on the road again on Thursday and play against the American Eagles at 6:15 p.m. on December 7th. Los Altos will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 609th, while American is ranked 123rd).
Los Altos has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 24 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat KIPP Esperanza 52-18 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-10.
Meanwhile, American put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 71-42 win over Newark Memorial.
American got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kiratraj Sanghera out in front who scored 23 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Sanghera has scored at least 25% of American's points. Another player making a difference was Arman Mahavni, who scored 16 points.
The losses dropped Los Altos to 3-2 and KIPP Esperanza to 1-5.
