Miller County was the clear victor by a 55-30 margin over Quitman County. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-12.
Miller County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hannah Cratic, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Denecia Williams was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Miller County and bumps their season record up to 6-12. As for Quitman County, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miller County will take on Early County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Early County will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Quitman County, they will head out on the road to face off against Randolph-Clay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
