The Richfield Tigers had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.9 points), and they went ahead and made it nine on Monday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 48-21 win over Hagerman. Richfield has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 23 points or more this season.
Kasey Hendren continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds. Hendren is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Jones, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds.
Richfield pushed their record up to 13-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Hagerman, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richfield will challenge Dietrich at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hagerman won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Twin Falls Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
