The St. Anne-Pacelli Vikings will face off against the Loganville Christian Academy Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, St. Anne-Pacelli earned a 28-16 win over Westfield School. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.
St. Anne-Pacelli got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Donovan 'DJ' Colvin out in front who rushed for 94 yards and one score. Dustin Sherman was another key passer, throwing for 139 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten passes.
St. Anne-Pacelli's run defense was locked in: Westfield School could only muster 2.3 yards per carry. The team can thank Uriah Mazyck for the heroic effort on defense: he. St. Anne-Pacelli's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.8.

St. Anne-Pacelli's defense didn't let Brock Johnson, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Keyon Williams with two. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with nine.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Friday. Loganville Christian Academy came out on top against Lakeview Academy by a score of 21-14. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but Loganville Christian Academy was the (much) better team in the second half.
St. Anne-Pacelli better keep an eye on Kylan Fryar. He was instrumental in Loganville Christian Academy's win, rushing for 49 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 171 yards and one TD. Fryar has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
Loganville Christian Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Braylon Griffin and Fryar. Ellis Stewart was another major factor on D, making 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
The win got St. Anne-Pacelli back to even at 5-5. As for Loganville Christian Academy, their record now sits at 7-3.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. St. Anne-Pacelli has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 192.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Loganville Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 178.5 rushing yards.
