The Tipton Cardinals had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against Northwest by a score of 53-44. That's another feather in the cap for Tipton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Tipton to victory were Zach Moon and Jackson Bailey. Moon scored 14 points along with six rebounds, while Bailey dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Bailey has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played.
Tipton is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.
