Gadsden County suffered their biggest loss since November 21, 2023 on Wednesday. They were outmatched by Godby on the road and fell 65-15. Gadsden County was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-12.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Gadsden County struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Godby pulled down 29 offensive rebounds.
Taylor County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Gadsden County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.
Taylor County suffered a grim 44-22 defeat to Gadsden County in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Taylor County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
