The Ramapo Gryphons''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 38-14 loss at the hands of Sleepy Hollow.
Several Gryphons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayden Michel, who picked up 110 receiving yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Fabrice Adelson, who threw for 232 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt.
Evan Bowen was on fire for Sleepy Hollow: he rushed for 262 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per carry.
Ramapo's loss was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 10.0 points per game. As for Sleepy Hollow, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.
Ramapo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sleepy Hollow also has no future games currently scheduled.
