After two games on the road, Del Sol is heading back home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Legacy Longhorns at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th. Del Sol has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 336 points over their last five contests.
Del Sol pushed their score all the way to 55 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Basic. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Del Sol in their matchups with Basic: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Legacy waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins but they left with three. They secured a 63-59 W over Desert Oasis. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Rahjon Chambers was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Aaron Duke, who scored 14 points.
Del Sol's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for Legacy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
