The Rutherford Bulldogs will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Hasbrouck Heights Aviators at 5:00 p.m. on February 6th. Rutherford's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so the Aviators' offense will have their work cut out for them.
Last Thursday, Rutherford didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Cougars, but they still walked away with a 43-37 victory. That's two games straight that Rutherford has won by exactly six points.
Meanwhile, Hasbrouck Heights' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight defeat. They received a tough blow as they fell 41-24 to Lyndhurst. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hasbrouck Heights has scored all season.
Rutherford is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Hasbrouck Heights, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-6.
Rutherford strolled past the Aviators when the teams last played last Saturday by a score of 57-43. Will Rutherford repeat their success, or do the Aviators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
