Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Nevan Jeffers stepped things up a notch to give Purdue Polytechnic the 'W'. Nobody could stop Jeffers as he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Purdue Polytechnic: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-2 otherwise.

Jeffers and Purdue Polytechnic are on the road again on Tuesday to play Purdue Broad Ripple at 5:30 p.m. The Techies are a perfect 3-0 against the Lynx going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
