The Park Rangers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 60-42 to Jefferson.
Dalton Noble was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds for Jefferson. Noble set a new season high mark in blocks with five. Hunter Stevens was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with nine rebounds.
Park's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-3. As for Jefferson, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Park won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Custer County at 5:30 p.m. on December 22nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Montana (Custer County is ranked 92nd, while Park is ranked 80th). Jefferson will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Whitehall/Willow Creek at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Whitehall/Willow Creek is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
