Isaiah Robinson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Northeast is 4-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 4-12 otherwise.

Robinson's strong effort led Northeast over Kirkwood and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
