Neshannock had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. Jake Rynd made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
In other batting news, Hunter Wilson was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Joey Veronesi also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
