Hargrave scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Liberty Panthers by a score of 46-44. The Falcons have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Liberty's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bryana Pantallion led the charge by putting up 14 points along with eight boards and five steals. Pantallion is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last three games she's played. Lyric Brown was another key player, going 5 for 11 on her way to 15 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Hargrave's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Liberty, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7.

Hargrave will take on Orangefield in a tournament on Thursday. Hargrave has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Liberty, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Liberty Panthers challenge the Kirbyville Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
