Even though the Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons Golden Knights scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, the Mayfield Panthers still came out on top. Mayfield snuck past Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons with a 64-58 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mayfield.
It was another big night for Cloey Dopp, who scored 30 points along with three steals. She hasn't dropped below 16 points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Brianna Iannuzzi, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Mayfield is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
