Manassas Park have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Hampton Roads Generals at 8:00 PM.
While not quite a landslide, the game between Manassas Park and Jefferson four weeks ago was still a pretty decisive one as Manassas Park wrapped it up with a 27-12 victory.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Hampton Roads Generals, and their match last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to four. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 8-34 walloping at Davie Pride's hands. The state rankings had actually given Hampton Roads Generals a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Manassas Park's win lifted them to 1-1 while Hampton Roads Generals's loss dropped them down to 1-4. We'll find out if Manassas Park can add another positive mark to their record or if Hampton Roads Generals can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Manassas Park's step.
