The team also got some help courtesy of  Adalyn Boles, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Meanwhile, Randleman faced Uwharrie Charter in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Randleman fell just short of Uwharrie Charter by a score of  1-0. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Randleman in their matchups with Uwharrie Charter: they've now lost seven in a row.
  Kinzie Ivey spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one  run (which was  unearned)  on one hit and racked up six Ks.
 The  victory  got Wheatmore back to even at 5-5. As for Randleman, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.
