The Bartow Yellow Jackets won against the George Jenkins Eagles on Tuesday with 79 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Bartow blew past George Jenkins 79-40 at home. Bartow might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three matches by 23 points or more this season.
Bartow can attribute much of their success to Jayson Williams, who scored 20 points along with 5 steals. Nate Smathers was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
The win got Bartow back to even at 3-3. As for George Jenkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Bartow will head out on the road to face off against Sebring at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sebring is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for George Jenkins, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Tampa Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. North Tampa Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 495 points over their last seven contests.
