The Ribault Trojans waltzed into Saturday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat FAMU DRS 84-51 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 60-29.
Caleb Williams had a dynamite game for Ribault, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 10 assists. The contest was Williams' third in a row with at least ten points. Jaheim Robinson was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Ribault's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for FAMU DRS, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ribault will face off against Oakleaf at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oakleaf will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for FAMU DRS, they will head out on the road to face off against Raines at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
