The Fordham Prep Rams came tearing into Saturday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Hackley by a score of 61-50.
Fordham Prep was led to victory by Will Gregory and Matthew Kapfer. Gregory scored 20 points, while Kapfer dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Matthew Herlick was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six assists.
Fordham Prep is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Hackley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Fordham Prep will head out on the road to face off against Regis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hackley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
