Spring Valley won the last time they faced Hurricane and things went their way on Saturday too. The Timberwolves walked away with a 2-0 win over the Redskins.

Emma Edwards paced Spring Valley's offense, picking up eight kills. Edwards got some help from Avery Ellis and her 11 assists. Aubrey Rutherford controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Spring Valley's victory bumped their record up to 29-11-7. As for Hurricane, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 22-23-2 record.

Spring Valley has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Cabell Midland on the 25th. As for Hurricane, they are taking a road trip to face off against Parkersburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
