High Point Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kerri Langfitt, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Langfitt's first of the season.

Mogan Banks spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on one hit and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Stella Spang was incredible, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Anna Hinde, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Charlotte Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
This is the second loss in a row for High Point Christian Academy and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Charlotte Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. High Point Christian Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Charlotte Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
High Point Christian Academy beat Charlotte Christian 9-4 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for High Point Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
