Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North walked away with a 71-64 win over Surrattsville on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Antonio Waddy, who scored 31 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Jones, who scored five points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Surrattsville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North will be playing at home against College Park Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. College Park Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North is ranked 107th). As for Surrattsville, they will head out on the road to challenge Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
