After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grangeville, the Kellogg Wildcats were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They walked away with a 39-31 victory over Priest River. That's another feather in the cap for Kellogg, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Kellogg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordyn Stutzke led the charge by scoring 16 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stutzke has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dani Schillereff, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Kellogg pushed their record up to 14-9 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Priest River, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
Kellogg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Priest River also has no future games currently scheduled.
