 In other batting news,  Dustin Pavlick was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Landon Garrett, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 On Delphi Community's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Levi Coghill, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Kouts' win bumped their record up to 5-2-1. As for Delphi Community, they now  have a losing record at 3-4.
 Kouts will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Morgan Township at 4:30  p.m. Kouts' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9  runs per game  this season, so Morgan Township's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Delphi Community, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Rochester at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. Rochester is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.2  runs per game  this season.
