Leigha Race was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base.
In other batting news, Gabbriella Oliver was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Reghan Wilbur was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
