It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 73-28, which was the final score in Crown Leadership Academy's tilt against Riverpointe Christian Academy on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Crown Leadership Academy has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Faith Christian waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Ridge Christian Academy with points to spare, taking the game 56-39.
Elijah Brown was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with six steals and five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Faith Christian's points. Micheal King was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Crown Leadership Academy bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Faith Christian, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Crown Leadership Academy came up short against Faith Christian when the teams last played on Thursday, falling 57-45. Can Crown Leadership Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
