Berkshire and Crestwood are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Badgers will welcome the Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Berkshire will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Crestwood's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Wednesday: Berkshire hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Badgers never let Rootstown get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Monday.

Moira Wonders was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Whitney Davis, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Meanwhile, Crestwood came up short against Chagrin Falls on Monday and fell 6-3.
Hailey Pesarchick made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Jocelyn Johnson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one double.
Crestwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Berkshire, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Berkshire has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Crestwood struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Berkshire's way against Crestwood when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Berkshire made off with an 8-1 victory. Will the Badgers repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
