It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Glendale Adventist Cougars can now relate to. They suffered a tough 5-0 loss at the hands of the Lions on Friday. It was the first time this season that Glendale Adventist let down their fans at home.
Glendale Adventist's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3. As for Edgewood, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3-4.
Glendale Adventist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Edgewood will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Temecula Prep at 3:15 p.m. on February 13th. Temecula Prep will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 705th, while Edgewood is ranked 323rd).
