Milaca has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Thursday. They will take on the Little Falls Flyers at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Milaca's 23-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They had to suffer through a rough 81-48 loss at the hands of St. Francis.
The losing side was boosted by Samson Trigg, who scored six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Berg, who scored eight points.
Milaca struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Little Falls pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were dealt a 83-55 loss at the hands of Holdingford. Little Falls has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Milaca bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Little Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Milaca came up short against Little Falls in their previous matchup back in February, falling 62-57. Can Milaca avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
