The Thibodaux Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Southside Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
After a string of three wins, Thibodaux's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 38-12 walloping at the hands of Destrehan. While losing is never fun, Thibodaux can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Destrehan is ranked 18th).
Although Thibodaux took the loss, they still got scores from Dominic Blanchard and Brayden Becnel.
Despite a strong season so far, Southside has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They fell to Sam Houston 32-27.
Thibodaux now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Southside, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
