Devin Barksdale continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Jacksonville, going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 4 assists. The match was Barksdale's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaquan Ervin, who scored 13 points.
Alexandria's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-2. As for Jacksonville, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Alexandria will be home for the holidays to greet Anniston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jacksonville, they will head out on the road to face off against Cleburne County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cleburne County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 264th, while Jacksonville is ranked 42nd).
