James F. Byrnes' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jaida Johnson led the charge by dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chassidy Rookard, who scored 11 points along with six steals.
Dorman's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for James F. Byrnes, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-6.
Dorman will head out on the road to take on Gaffney at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Gaffney's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight contests. As for James F. Byrnes, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Boiling Springs at 6:00 p.m. Boiling Springs is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
