Foresthill gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. They blew past the Futures Knights, posting a 29-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wildfires in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

The critical scores for Foresthill came from Maddy Marquez, Amy Saxelby, Rylee Vigarino, and Kodi Ramirez.

One reason for the win was Foresthill's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Looking ahead, Foresthill will take on Enochs in a tournament on Saturday. As for Futures, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Mesa Verde at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
